Anna L. Bates, Attorney-at-Law, graduated summa cum laude from the Ohio State University in 1980 and received her Juris Doctorate of Law from Capital University in 1984.
Attorney Bates was admitted to the Ohio Bar in October, 1984. She is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Ohio, the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio and the United States Supreme Court. She is a member in good standing of the Columbus Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association.
Attorney Bates has always maintained her practice in Westerville, Ohio, beginning in the private practice of law from 1984 to 1990. From 1990 to 1995 she practiced with a former classmate, James Mong, in the partnership of Bates and Mong, LPA. She returned to private practice in 1995 and in 2000 the partnership of Bates & Hasselback was formed. Ms. Bates and her husband, Attorney David Hasselback, maintain their true "family" practice in Westerville, Ohio. David George Hasselback, attorney at law, received his Juris Doctor from Capital University in 1985. In addition he holds a Master of Arts from Pepperdine University (1978); a Master of Public Affairs from North Carolina State (1971) and his B.A., is from Washington & Jefferson College (1965) in Washington Pa.
Attorney Hasselback was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1985. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Ohio. Attorney Hasselback also serves as a Guardian Ad Litem for Delaware, Union and Licking County Domestic Relations Courts. In addition, he serves as an Independent Hearing Officer for the Ohio Rehabilitation Services Commission, the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities and the Ohio Bureau For The Visually impaired. He is a member of the Columbus Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association.
