Brad Bearnson is an acclaimed Logan, Utah and Cave Creek, Arizona attorney who has achieved success in several disciplines of law including personal injury, medical malpractice and negligence, product liability, business law, tax law, estate planning, labor and employment law, and commercial litigation.
Brad has a diverse background in the law. His particular emphasis is on assisting personal injury, products liability, and other injured victims in obtaining a fair recovery for their losses. Because of his prior extensive business background he also continues to assist clients in business related issues and commercial litigation. Brad is admitted to practice in Utah, Idaho, Arizona and Wyoming. He appears frequently in both state and federal court and is admitted in the Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeals. Brad also served as general counsel for Icon Health & Fitness, Inc. where handled a broad range of legal issues from mergers and acquisitions to product liability and employment matters. He has mediated over 400 cases.
Brad graduated from Utah State University, where he obtained a B.A. degree in accounting in 1979. He obtained his Certified Public Accountant designation in that same year. He pursued his legal education at the University of Utah, where he obtained a J.D. degree in 1982 and was admitted to the Utah State Bar.
Brad was recently named to Utah’s Best of the Best for litigators for 2011. He has been given an AV rating for legal ability and ethical standards – the highest possible from Martindale-Hubbell legal directory. Brad is also a member of the Utah Association for Justice and the Attorneys’ Information Exchange Group.
Wayne K. Caldwell provides a wide range of legal services, including in areas such as personal injury, criminal law, litigation, family law, wrongful death, landlord-tenant disputes, employment law, civil rights claims, and estate planning. He began practicing law in St. George, Utah as an Assistant Attorney General for the Utah Attorney General’s Office. In 2003, Wayne accepted a position with the Washington County Attorney’s Office where he prosecuted many high-profile, complex felony cases. In fact, Wayne was in the office when the rape charges were filed against Warren Jeffs. In 2006, Wayne left Washington County to accept an associate attorney position with Stirba & Associates in Salt Lake City, Utah. While in Salt Lake City, he practiced in the areas of civil rights litigation involving excessive force by police officers and in criminal defense. In 2007, Wayne left Salt Lake to return to Cache Valley and take a position with the former firm of Bearnson & Peck in Logan, Utah. Finally, in 2011, Wayne co-founded Bearnson & Caldwell, LLC and practices law there as a partner.
In the area of personal injury, Wayne has been involved in many injury cases where clients have collected monies owed to them by insurance companies in several different states. Wayne has also been involved in many high-profile criminal state and federal cases and has effectively represented many accused individuals in Utah, Idaho, and Arizona. Some of Wayne’s clients have seen serious felonies dismissed after he became involved in their cases, and many more have seen significant reductions in their charges. Finally, Wayne has represented several public employees that have been able to return to their jobs after they were wrongfully terminated.
