Let Our Firm Handle Your Injury Case
If you have been injured, it is important to understand one thing: the insurance company is not on your side. They will do whatever it takes to minimize your claim, so you should not hesitate to protect your rights.

When you work with an Orange County personal injury lawyer from Cohn & Swartzon, P.C., you can trust that we will fight to secure the level of compensation that you deserve. Whether that means that we negotiate a fair and reasonable settlement with the insurance company outside of court or take a case to trial, we know what it takes to secure the maximum compensation available.

Why Turn to Cohn & Swartzon, P.C.?

Our firm is committed to taking an unwavering stance for innocent victims who have suffered physical, emotional and financial losses as a result of another party's negligence. Whether that means that negotiate a fair and reasonable settlement with the insurance company outside of court or take a case to trial, we know what it takes to secure the maximum compensation available. In fact, our attorneys have already recovered more than $75 million in verdicts and settlements on behalf of past clients.

Pursuing Maximum Compensation for Your Injuries & Damages

If you and your family are seeking financial recovery after a loved one has been injured or been in an accident; you may be seeking compensation for damages such as loss of companionship and funeral expenses.

Each case is unique with regard to the degree of injury and the damages that were suffered. We can provide you with a free, initial consultation with an attorney at our firm to help you determine how best to proceed against the negligent individual or corporate entity that caused your injuries. Many victims attempt to challenge the insurance companies alone and often end up with a valid claim that is wrongfully denied or severely decreased in value.

Rather than simply taking our word for it, we invite you to call our firm and ask our Orange County personal injury attorneys to share some of the horror stories we see, often times after it is too late to help. At Cohn & Swartzon, P.C., we battle insurance companies every day, know their tactics, and know how best to overcome them. You can count on our team to faithfully remain by your side every step of the way.

Jason D. Cohn

A true California native, Jason D. Cohn was born and raised in Orange County. Staying close to home after graduating high school, he attended the prestigious Entrepreneur Program at the University of Southern California’s (USC) Marshall School of Business. While a student at USC, Jason was a member of the Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity and befriended his fellow fraternity brother, Saar Swartzon. Little did Jason know, years later he and Saar would later be the founders of their own law firm - Cohn & Swartzon, P.C. Nonetheless, upon graduating from USC in 1994, Jason decided to follow his now late-father’s legal career by attending Whittier Law School in Los Angeles.

Education
USC, Bachelor of Science, Business Administration (1994)
Whittier Law School, J.D., Cum Laude (1997)
Jason excelled as a law student; he would hold private tutoring sessions and was regularly included on the Dean’s List. Due to Jason's excellent performance in law school, he was invited to join the Whittier Law Review and Moot Court Honors Board. In 1997, Jason graduated from Whittier Law School, cum laude, and relocated back to Orange County from Los Angeles. Jason began practicing law as a business litigator and then later, a personal injury defense attorney for a distinguished law firm in Newport Beach.

Continuing a History of Excellence
Jason's father, a fellow lawyer, tragically passed away in 2003. Since Jason was tired of the stance insurance companies generally take against individuals asserting personal injury claims, and wanting to turn a tragedy into something positive, he started his own practice in his late-father's former office, switching sides to represent the injured. After running his own law practice for approximately 5 years, in 2008, Jason teamed up with long-time friend and colleague Saar Swartzon; together they founded the law firm of Cohn & Swartzon, P.C.
