The firm that is now Kuhn, Mitchell, Moss began the practice of law in 1915 when Chancey William Reed opened his law practice in Naperville, Illinois. As the oldest continuing law firm in DuPage County, Kuhn, Mitchell, Moss has had several of its members elected or appointed to the trial and appellate courts including Judge Reed and Justices Abrahamson, Knoch, Rechenmacher and Hennessey. DANIEL L. KUHN - Born in Aurora, Illinois, 1943. He was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1968. He is a graduate of St. Procopius College (1965). He completed his legal education at Northwestern University Law School (JD 1968). He is a member of the DuPage County Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association and Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Areas of Concentration: Family Law and Litigation.
PAUL M. MITCHELL - Born in Chicago, Illinois, 1947. He was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1973. He completed his college education at DePauw University (B.A. 1969). He completed his legal education at Boston University and DePauw University (J.D. 1973). He is a member of the DuPage County Bar Association. Areas of concentration: Commercial Litigation, Real Estate, Taxation and Commercial Real Estate.
JONATHAN Y. MOSS - Born in Mendota, Illinois, 1949. He was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1975. He completed his college education at University of Illinois - Champaign (B.S. 1971). He completed his legal education at Loyola University (J.D. 1975). He is a Certified Public Accountant (1971). He is a member of the DuPage County Bar Association, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois Society of Certified Public Accountants. Areas of concentration: Real Estate, Corporate, Business Acquisitions and Wills.
RYAN J. HARRINGTON - Born in Rochester, MN, 1966. He was admitted to the bar in 1992, (IL, U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois). He is admitted to the U.S. District Court, Trial Bar, Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He completed his education at the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, MN (B.A. 1988). He obtained his legal education from the Chicago Kent College of Law (J.D. 1992, Merit Scholarship Recipient). Areas of Concentration: Trial and Appellate Practice, Personal Injury, Commercial Litigation and Employment Law.
